old song
Hello,
I'm new on this forum and I need some help.

I put an old song from an old cassette on a file. I would like to know who wrote this song. Is there a possibility to put the file somewhere in this forum so that people can listen to it?

It might be easier to post some of the lyrics from your mystery song as well as the genre of the music and if it's a male/female/group song.

Hello,
It's a male group and here are parts of the lyrics.
I think the refrain is 1)I like flamenco or 2)flamenco te quiero.
Other lyrics are :

What else can I say, really simply say, what else can, I like flamenco
When I'm looking out then she waits for me to shout.
Life has never been what it should have been, when I'm looking out than she waits for me to shout.

I think it's song from end 60's or begin 70's.

And if you want, I can still send you the file with the music on.

Greetings

Marc

Hey Turbo, I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you, but
that is an awesome song! I hope we can get an answer to your
question. Any other clues? Possible year it was out? Location
it was popular? (Belgium?)

Great song! :-)

Hey Roger,

Thanks for trying to help me. Unfortunately, I don' t have more details. I recorded that song on a tape and 70's or begin 80's and since then I never heard it anymore. But I like it so much that I'll keep trying to find somebody somewhere to help me.

Greetings
Turbo

Hi Turbo, I agree with you. And I hope one of us can find it somewhere! I think it sounds like a European group, and a good bet might be a Spanish group ("quiero flamenco"). There were some pretty good Spanish rock groups in the late '60's and early '70's, maybe we can find a Top-40 chart from Spain for that time period? I thought of Los Bravos, but their discography doesn't list anything that could be this song. Also Los Pop Tops.

I'll keep searching, and I hope you will too! If you find out who it is, I hope you will post it here, or e-mail me.
Cheers!

There is a post on your YouTube video which states that this was "Flamenco Moog" by Dan Lacksman. Lacksman is Belgian, so the pieces seem to fit. Have you verified this yet? I'm trying to find a copy of the song somewhere, but no luck yet.

Want a copy of the song? Simple, download a free program from the net called VDOWNLOADER (download.com). This program will download the song from You Tube to your computer, you can either download the video or set the output format to MP3 and you can get the audio only.

Yeah, I've done that, and it's better than nothing, but I'm looking for a better quality recording.
Thanks!
