Girl group 50's maybe early 60's?? Help title unknown "I Can't see you anymore"
Hello all, I am hoping to get some help here... As there are not many stations that even play this type of music anymore it is more & more difficult to find these songs. The only part of the song I remember is this girl is telling a boy that her parents told her she can't be with him anymore... "I can't see you anymore... then repeats. I feel like it's Leslie Gore or the Shangrilas... that kind of sound. Help please?! It's driving me crazy...

The Shangri-Las had a hit with "I Can Never Go Home Anymore", but it wasn't "can't see you anymore". Could that be it?

Although it has the ambiance of a hit by Lesley Gore or the Shangs the song you're thinking of is in fact Society's Child by Janis Ian from 1967.

that's what I thought, I searched thru several albums of both Leslie Gore & The Shangrilas. That's it THANK YOU it is Society's child! Buying the MP3 rite now ;) Thank You, Thank You!
