In Search of 70's song ''Sometimes''
I've been searching for this song and I seem to be the only one who remembers it. It was an R&B duo- Man & Woman and the main hook of the song was SOMETIMES. the jist of the song was they seemed to be venting for confort to each other as they expressed how mundain life can be(Sometimes). I also believe that "Sometimes" was the name of the song. Anyhoo, the lyrics went like this:
"Sometimes I feel like, I've just got to get away, from the same old existence day after day, Oh haven't you ever felt that waaay? YESSSS SOMETIMES!
UPDATE: SpeciAL Thanks to "DAN" & "KEITHC" for supplying this information:
This song had two versions- Country and R&B........
The R & B group was called "Facts of Life" under Kayvette Records, 1977, produced by Millie Jackson!
"Sometimes" was also the Name of LP by the "Facts of Life" originally under the Kayvette Records label and then RCA record label.
The LP had 11 tracks and the 45 Single was also under Kayvette Records.
LP was produced by Millie Jackson!
The soulful lead female vocalist was Jean Davis, younger sister of soul legend Tyrone Davis.
"Sometimes" was written by B. Anderson.
Bill Anderson, also did this song in a country version with Lead Singer, MARY LOU TURNER, under the MCA Records Label.
I bought both Versions from EBAY to do a side by side comparison and to put them on CD for my personal use. Thanks Again!!
